Buccoo Easter Parade 2015
Our Annual Easter Parade held in the village of Buccoo on April 7th was again a big hit with all the villagers, tourists and many participants of Healing with Horses!
We had a fabulous turn out with 55 volunteers brightly adorned with their HWH t-shirts and our complete herd of ten horses was magnificently topped with their costumed riders! For the first time, we had our pony cart and valiant Winston pulling it along.
The long wait in the hot sun awaiting the start of the parade, required all our patience and calm and everyone performed beautifully in spite of the challenge. Our horses and riders once again demonstrated their dedication to community participation as Healing with Horses has shown over the many years of parades.
